The 7 Foot High Door
Standard door heights for most residential projects are typically 6' 8" or 8' 0". I find the smaller height feels like tract housing and the taller height a bit out of human scale for me. A door height of 7' 0" inches is a better fit. This height has become a standard option for many door manufacturers. If your supplier does not recognize this as a new standard, it is time to find a new supplier. #doors
